I had a previously horrible experience with the MRI Department at Mercy Health several years ago. I swore I would never have that testing done again due to that experience. However, with my MS, I did have to undergo another MRI.
I was so anxious and so worked up that I had to be given medication to help calm and relax me. My nurse, Kari, was so amazing. She explained the entire process to me, stayed with me the entire time to make sure I was comfortable and alright. She showed me that she really cares for her patients and is willing to do whatever it takes.
I was amazed at my care from her and that there really are nurses that care and give their all. She has to be recognized for her job and making a difference.
