I was going into a test that I had to go under for and was scared of not making it out because of anesthesia. Kari came in and realized how scared I was and put everything aside and pulled up a chair and discussed her experiences. Told me all about her ducks and her love for them. When all was said and done, I ended up going through with the test. I have not gotten to see her since that night, but I would have never had the test done if it was not for her sitting down and taking the time to assure me, I would be okay. I often still think of her and keep her in my prayers.
