Kari Pavoni, RN, BSN
Kari is an amazing co-worker to work with. She steps up as an awesome charge resource to go to. She took 4 patients and had one patient that required medication to be administered every 15-minute interval. She is an amazing role model and coworker. One South is lucky to have her!

Kari is the heart of 1 South. She always works her hardest taking care of her patients and is a leader to her peers. She’s knowledgeable about the medical field and that makes her a great asset to our unit. Today, not only was Kari in charge, but she took an extra patient so one of us wouldn’t be bogged down. The patient she took required a large amount of time and dedication. For over half of her shift she was in the room every 15 minutes. Normally if a patient needs anything every 15 minutes they need ICU-level care. But Kari never complained. She always does everything for us and her patients, so I think she is a DAISY Nurse. She is always my nurse of the year!
