Kari Randall, BSN, RN

Kari was my husband’s nurse several days and evenings during his three-month stay at Hospice of Hamilton. He had COPD and always wanted to get out of bed, but he was very weak and had difficulty breathing. Kari went above and beyond taking care of him.

When she would come in his room, he would sing, “Here she is, Miss America.” I was grateful he was in her care. She would stop in to see him when she wasn’t his nurse to see how he was doing. Her smile and attitude gave me strength to get through the day. I always felt at ease when I left at night, knowing he was in her care.

I was thankful she was his nurse for his last several hours. She helped us get through this difficult time. I will always have a special place in my heart for such a caring and wonderful nurse.
