Kari is the first one to volunteer if she can when the unit needs extra help.
When you hear Ms. Kari's soft voice you will know that you and her patients will be cared for that shift. She has such a kind heart who listens to her patients' needs and makes sure they are her focus when she is in the room. For any special occasion for one of our peers, one of our nurses left for another job or our peer had a baby or got married. Kari will come in even on her day off to drop off a gift for that person.
She's the first one to volunteer if she can when the unit needs extra help. She will do her best to assist her peers to trade shifts with them if she can. Her positive energy radiates to anyone around her. When my grandmother passed away she drove at least 45 minutes to get to my house just to drop off a lovely plant to give her condolences to my family. I love her dearly and I know her patients and her team feel the same way. She will even get a wheelchair to take her patients down to the lobby just so they can be able to get home safely.
