My son Z has been here a few times but was admitted in May for at least 4 days. We had many wonderful staff members over these days and during other times when we were at this hospital. However, this morning from 7 am to 7 pm, Kari Young really stood out! Kari made sure I and my daughter who came along were comfortable and she made sure we had everything we needed. She went above and beyond to make sure my son got the care he deserves. I wished I could write in words how my experience was with her. Unfortunately, I cannot, but I am going to say these few words about the kind of nurse she is:
Outstanding Caring: For patient and family members, goes above and beyond her duties. Does her job well. She is very passionate. This list could go on and on. I came in here so stressed out about my son's illness but before Kari's shift was over, I had some reassurance that things will get better for my son. I didn't want her shift to be over! It's people like Kari we need in this kind of environment. She is awesome. Please say a very big thank you to her on behalf of my son and the entire family.
