Karie Nelson, RN

I've been coming to the infusion center 3-4x per week for 10 months. I've received excellent, kind, and patient care from all of the nurses, however, Karie always goes above and beyond. She truly cares and she is very intuitive. The reasons I come for infusions are different from most people, which has caused frustration, however, she always treats me with extra TLC. I see her and I know she truly cares. I've been moved to tears simply at the sight of her on some of my harder days.

In addition to my chronic medical issues, I've had the hardest year of my life as a single mom of 4, navigating court and the abuse of my children by their Dad. There have been times when I haven't been safe and she just seems to see that. She's guided me to social workers, gone to K on my behalf, and also advocated with my PCP. Karie is one of a kind. She truly has a gift. She's offered me, (and still does) love and safety when I didn't have either. She's impacted my life for good in ways I can't even begin to explain.
