Karina has been one of my nurses since I first arrived. She has taken such great care of me and gotten me through many tests and procedures by just saying kind words, encouraged me so many times, and told me to think of her singing dog, Toby, to get me through. She has always been there after the procedures and given me extraordinary care. She has been such an unbelievable person to my husband and me when we had to make some tough decisions. She always gets in touch with the right personnel and has truly gone above and beyond in giving excellent care. She has been so patient in showing me how to clean drains, teaching me how to give myself injections, and just everyday care has been amazing. She always greets me with a beautiful smile and has always made me feel safe, in what, at times can be a scary environment. I am so grateful to her for everything she has done for me and my family and feel truly blessed to have had her take such amazing care of me. I will never forget Karina and will always have a special place in my heart for her.
