Karina Cruz-Lelina, RN

Karina is an extraordinarily skilled, knowledgeable, and caring nurse. In my interactions with her, there are so many instances that I have observed her attention to detail, efficiency, care, compassion, respect, and readiness to assist. Karina has an astute attention to detail. What others might attempt to work around Karina will explore the problem to make the situation better for everyone. For instance, when she noticed that one of our machine's mechanisms was not efficient, she swiftly brought it up to the other nurses to see if there was a better solution. When she saw that everyone was experiencing the same challenge, she knew this was an area that needed improvement, and she presented it to the appropriate personnel. Such an act will not only ensure that care is delivered in a timely manner, but also accuracy and patient safety. Karina is a great team player. When you ask for assistance from Karina, she will make it a priority, and she will go the extra mile to assist in completing the requested task efficiently and skillfully. She is truly a nurse who goes above and beyond what is expected of her. Karina has integrity; she is not afraid to be the first to do what is right and to make sure our patients get the proper and right care they deserve. Karina does things right the first time. Karina is an inspiration to everyone she interacts with and works with.
