Karina is an exceptional nurse at Ascension Alexian Brothers. Peers recognize her commitment to the team and her devotion to caring excellence. Karina was a DAISY Nominee prior to her Honoree designation this month. Her nomination demonstrated Karina’s commitment to developing relationships with her patients and the impact her check-ins had on the patient and family, even when not her nurse. Her nominator wrote how she was the light that they needed in a difficult time. Karina pays special attention to the needs of her patients and creates a healing environment for the most critically ill.
