Kari was so kind and patient and understanding. I was so anxious, and most nurses, doctors, etc., were nice but getting weary of me. Kari stayed, listened, was fully present, and it was the first time I felt seen, heard, and validated in a long time, especially in a hospital. Some see me as a patient, some just a bed number, but Kari saw me for the person I am. She gave me hope and advice. She didn't just help nurse my physical health but my emotional and mental health as well.
