The moment Karine came in to introduce herself, she had a warm smile and I felt totally comfortable. Her skills were acknowledged right away. She never hurt me, always came right away, and I never felt I was a bother. She's special.

Hospital stays do not have to be a bad memory and experience. Karine proved that to me. She truly cares about her patients and I have a friend forever in my heart.

Karine came to Holy Cross as an EIT, EPIC Implementation Technician. She was first hired as a new resident in Med-Surg Ortho, then transferred to the TIP program in Progressive Care Unit more recently. As a new resident, Karine is eager to learn new things and wants to grow professionally. In fact, she is looking into furthering her education as a Nurse Practitioner. Karine applies the knowledge she gained through the mentoring she received from her preceptors and colleagues. She is a thoughtful individual, attentive to her patients and families, and is a compassionate individual. Karine demonstrates critical thinking and independence. Karine is a great addition to our staff.
