I am 22 years old and was a patient for almost two weeks at the hospital. I was very emotional, confused, scared, and anxious about the pancreatitis I had. It was very painful and very irritating to have that pain. Through all that pain and suffering, Karisa was always there for me and all her other patients. Karisa always made me smile and laugh no matter the pain I was going through. She would always make sure I got my medicine and would always offer things to comfort me, such as heat pads, ice packs, and blankets. She became a huge part of my successful recovery; she gave me motivation, and I always looked forward to seeing her. Her knowledge, skills, professionalism, and her willingness to help everyone is incredible. She always does it with a positive attitude and always goes above and beyond, thank you, Karisa, for being an awesome nurse and human being!
