This nurse had a patient who was a self-proclaimed germaphobe and was very particular about her care and sanitary process of everything. They were beyond patient with this patient. This nurse wiped down floors for her, wiped down equipment for her, wiped down the bed for her, and even wiped down the outside of the crackers and ginger ale this nurse provided her. This nurse did all of this with a smile, even though the patient could be very demanding at times. I saw this nurse put on three pairs of gloves multiple times to make sure the patient felt comfortable with the care she was receiving, and this nurse did it all with a smile. The patient was so thankful for all of the wonderful care she received from this employee, and they made what could have been a negative situation for the patient a positive one.
