Sometimes you run into a nurse who really touches you in a very special way. Karla has gone out of her way to attempt to answer all my questions (and if she doesn't know she tries to find out) and she makes me feel safe and confident that I can do this! She doesn't give me a blanket response that works for everyone but attempts to respond with specialized answers to me, who I am and how I learn. She never makes you feel bad or stupid for asking a question. As a person who suffers from several struggles, she has had faith in me when I couldn't find it in myself. Some people see being a nurse as a job, Karla seems to believe it is simply who she is. It appears to be more than a job to her and I am grateful for Karla. I always look forward to her check-ins and support. Thank you for employing her, Karla is truly amazing.
