Nomination 1 (Patient Nomination):

I was here 3 years ago recovering from colon cancer. The Nurses I have had the pleasure of meeting this time have gone above and beyond what I experienced last time. After being here a week, I feel I have been well-attended to. Karla brings a ready smile, positive attitude, and it appears that she is tireless. Some important traits of Karla: If I ask her a question, she answers the question I've asked. She's actively listening! If she doesn't know the answer, she'll find out. Karla has kept a smile on my face and depression at bay. She is also very efficient, helping me get my medications when no one else noticed my orders were wrong.

Nomination 2 (Patient Nomination):

Every nurse I had was great. Karla was exceptional. She went above and beyond anything I could imagine needing. She treated me like her own baby. She even washed my hair for me. She made my 4 days wonderful.

Nomination 3 (Family Nomination):

Karla went the extra mile to make my daughter feel pampered and special besides the wonderful nursing care she gave her. She also went the extra mile to be sure her family was doing ok, realizing they were traumatized also. She is an excellent nurse and caregiver. Although all the nurses were excellent, she exceeded our expectations. Thank you!! :)
