Karla Staus, RN

I went to Day Surgery for a bronchoscopy and biopsy of a lung nodule. Karla was my admitting nurse. She welcomed me and my friend in a very kind, warm, caring manner. She made sure I was physically comfortable as she engaged in conversation that was reassuring. She truly was interested in me as a person and the health journey I am currently experiencing with lung cancer. Her skill in starting the IV was excellent and she provided me with many warm blankets as I waited for the procedure. She provided excellent care. I too am an RN (retired) and can appreciate all of the changes that have taken place over my 40 years of practice. I would like to thank Karla for the outstanding care she provided for me.
