Karli's complete sense of calmness helped me stay calm as she led the rapid response.
Right from the beginning of my husband’s stay, Karli stood out. She was compassionate and professional and always explained procedures and what was happening. The rest of the team worked well with Karli and seemed to rise to the level of excellence that she exemplified.
The first incidence that made her shine above and beyond was when my husband had cardiac distress during PT. Karli ran in and took charge and advocated for my husband. She maintained a level of calmness that helped me stay calm. The teamwork in the response showed a well-trained team, led by Karli, with everyone knowing their specific roles.
The next day she was helping to transfer my husband from the bed to the bedside chair. His heart rate plummeted and he was unresponsive. Karli caught him and held him up even though he was a 205-pound bag of wet cement. Her complete sense of calmness helped me stay calm as she led the rapid response. Karli answered all questions immediately, contacted the doctors when we had questions or concerns and displayed professionalism, confidence, and a friendly demeanor. She is an asset to this hospital and the nurse I would want!

You explained what tests the doctors ordered, and kept us informed about readings and what was happening. You are an amazing caregiver, a leader to the team, and a nurse I would want on my team if ever the need arises! Congratulations on the birth of your baby!
