The ICU was the last place I expected to be when going in to have a baby. It was a scary situation that I didn't know how to react to, how to feel, or what to expect. In came Karlie; she explained everything that was going on and it really settled me. She went above and beyond for a complete stranger. Her can-do attitude rubbed off on me and gave me additional strength to push harder and fight!

When it was time for me to have a procedure done to my luck she was right there to hold my hand assuring me that everything was fine, and it was! My entire family loved her and most of all how she treated me. One day I was feeling down and she offered what to anyone would have been something so small but to me, it was above and beyond. She offered to help me bathe. She and my mom got me as clean as possible while having multiple medical things attached to me. As much as I was ready to get out of the ICU, I was not ready to lose her as a nurse. She is hands down the best nurse I have had. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making me feel normal in a not-so-normal situation!
