My mom tells everyone as they enter that she is a pain in the butt, but she is scared to death of being in a strange place with people she doesn't know. I'm sure this is the case with most older people. I watched with fascination as Karlyn performed a miracle, making my mom feel as if this were one of her own kids taking care of her. She, in my opinion, should be the example to all of what a caregiver should be. My whole family would adopt her as one of our own. We have gained a sister who does a hard job and makes each person she comes in contact with feel special. We need more people like her in this world.
