There are few times in life when you meet someone with a true, loving heart. When Karolinka came to us as the 6th floor Nursing Operations Manager, we knew that we had a very special woman joining our team. She led the team and her peers with an unselfish, giving, and kind type of love. Everyone who met with her knew that her intentions were always in the patients', their families, and our team's best interest.
She was respectful to each person's unique needs, all the while, showing compassion for them. Linka immersed herself into the 6th floor and Winnie Palmer Hospital Teams to collaborate and work as a team to support our patients. She included the 6th floor team in changes to the unit to meet their needs, all the while, implementing best practices.
We are grateful for the time Karolinka was with us and her footprint will remain as a model of leadership.
