Kasey McCarty has been a nurse for 15 years. She became a nurse because her mother was a nurse, and when her father was diagnosed with cancer, she knew this was the path to follow. “I wanted to make a difference and help people. This was so nice for the nomination, but this is just what we do every day,” said McCarty.
