Kasha Philyaw, BSN, RN

Kasha continually strives for patient safety and to help improve her own professional development. Her solid foundation and kind heart is a true inspiration to the newbies of the OR. Recently, Kasha was placed as the trauma nurse on her shift and scrubbed an emergency c-section and then circulated an emergency embolectomy directly after where she made sure proper emergency protocol was followed before proceeding with care. She is a huge asset and team member. Many members of the team look up to her and strive to be like her. We are lucky to have her and have always had her!
