I had the sweetest, kindest nurse. My mom was admitted from rehab because she had a problem at dialysis with low blood pressure. When she came on duty she listened so well to my concerns for my mom. My mom ended up needing the critical care team called in because of all the issues she had. I think most of these details aren’t important other than my mom needed to go to palliative care. I was there alone a lot of the day making decisions that were hard until other family members could arrive. She was so tender and gentle with me. She really helped me get through that day (it was such a traumatic day). She didn’t know me but was such a comfort. I’m not sure what it would have been like without her. I know that God had her there that day for a reason. She was like an angel. Please let her know how much she helped me that day. I will never forget her kindness of that day. Thank you so much.
