Kassie was such a shining light to us during our stay, but on Christmas Eve she did something exceptional. They say a picture is worth a thousand words and she provided us with the most precious family photos for the rest of our lives. Our son was born earlier in the month and transferred to Children’s that day for heart surgery while I recovered at Women's with his twin brother. The next days that followed were a rollercoaster. Our toddler got the flu and we weren’t comfortable bringing him to the hospital until Christmas Eve so we had mentioned to one nurse we were excited about our first photo as a family of five. Kassie took it a step further and cut out hearts for our son’s surgical tape on his face. She got the doctors to approve taking the photo in the lobby in front of the tree and these photos are pure MAGIC. I will never ever forget the feeling of being together for the first time and we have these perfect photos to cement that day forever. She’s the true meaning of improving the lives of every child and their family!
