A patient called to have her birth control implant removed because it was causing her to experience depression. Kassidi decided to perform a depression screen where the patient admitted to thoughts of self-harm. Kassidi instructed the patient to go immediately to the ED. Later it was learned that the patient had a plan to harm herself and boyfriend. Kassidi very likely stopped a tragedy by taking that extra step.
