St. Vincent Healthcare would like to recognize Kate Brew as the February 2022 DAISY Winner. Kate was recognized for her compassion and for being extremely knowledgeable. She was able to assist a patient during their time in the hospital and even when the patient went home. “When I went to give myself insulin at home I had a vial and syringes. I had no idea what to do,” the DAISY Award nominator wrote. “I called the nurses station and Kate was able to talk me through the procedure. She was awesome!
