I was admitted to the General Medical Unit. I am 69 years old and have never been so sick, or in so much pain in my life. Kate and the rest of the staff were so kind and caring that I will never forget them. I was there for a total of 10 days, some days I remember very little. One day, I was down because it was our 54th anniversary and we couldn't celebrate. Kate and the rest of those wonderful caregivers all came to my room with a balloon and a box of candy for us with a beautiful card. They came into my room to check on me and brightened my day. Kate was there for me anytime I needed anything from pain shots to ice. I want Kate to know how much I appreciate everything she did for me.
