Kate is an incredible supportive presence to other nurses. Throughout this past year, she has run multiple events in which she was unfailingly supportive of not just the educational needs, but the well-being of each nurse she worked with.
Kate teaches through compassion and empathy, always tailoring her approach to meet the needs of those she works with. She soothes the anxious, provides leadership and direction in chaos, and can mitigate conflict expertly. Also, she is a careful and thoughtful mentor. She is a rock for nurses and clinical staff and truly exemplifies extraordinary caring in the work that she does.
