January 2026 Honoree
Kate Fitzgerald, RN
Ms. Kate’s happy demeanor and laughter exemplify the professionalism that an impassioned RN can only hope to have after years of service in this business of helping and caring for people. She’s a good phlebotomist as well; believe me, I’ve had the worst and the best over the years, and I can tell you, she is awesome.
I believe she would be good at handling any intern nurses that might be coming along, who may think they’ve learned phlebotomy on an orange, but until they learn the proper attitude and the caring skills that Miss Kate has, they may rarely get it right!
She deserves to be recognized as a leader of quality, compassionate care. I am honored to have met her today, and I am so glad she was my nurse for five hours.
