One day, I was on my way home from work and I was involved in an accident. I was brought to ED as a trauma, as I arrived, of course, there were many people in the ED room. Kate came to me and let me know she would be my nurse. I know Kate from our new grad program years back, she was so comforting, when I was taken to CT and MRI she came with me (she never left my side), I wasn't cleared yet to get up and she made sure I was comfortable. Kate made sure I was not in pain or anxious. I know it was a very busy day in the ER, but she did not make me feel that way. I appreciate her efforts and compassion, she made sure my kids and parents came back to see me and made sure I was discharged home comfortable. I want to thank her for being a wonderful nurse to me.
