Kate was very helpful. She followed up with everything she hoped to accomplish and kept me advised of the progress. Kate knew I had tolerated a full liquid diet and that I was so extremely hungry (2 days without food), so she tracked down the attending physician's PA and got permission for a full diet. This helped me considerably allowing me to go home earlier. Kate helped me figure out whom to call to find out how much my prescriptions were going to cost so I could plan ahead and not have a gap in my medication schedule. These may seem like little things to most people but, they were really large concerns for me! She also did a great job of instructing a student nurse and letting her be hands-on with the proper supervision. Kate was also patient and tolerant of my many allergies and physical limitations.
