Kate Obeng, RN

Kate (breastfeeding nurse) made a huge difference to our son’s 10-week stay in the Neonatal ward and SCBU. She went above and beyond to provide care and support not only to N but also to his mum and dad throughout all his ups and downs. She personally taught us how to care for our little one, from breastfeeding which was a challenge to burping and pacifying him. Even when it wasn’t her shift at N’s cot, she would always check up on him and speak to us - there was a sense of continuity and a genuine sense of care.
