I was a patient for five days. Kate was my nurse for two of those days on the day shift. Kate gave extraordinary care to me during that time. Offering to get me whatever I needed when asked and always taking time to listen while in my room. She always was quick to offer options if medications or food were not right. Kate also gave great care when removing my IV, art line, swan, and chest tubes. She did all of the removing in a quick and concise manner. Kate's bedside manner is one of the best I have seen, and it was a pleasure during that time to have a nurse like her to care for me. Kate is an asset to NHH and NHH should be proud to have her.
