As an MSN student, I had the privilege of completing my healthcare practicum hours with Kate Sewell. The level of knowledge, skill, professionalism, and care that she pours into her position as nurse educator is exemplary. Paraphrasing a new graduate nurse who recently toured Grandview, "Seeing how great Kate is made me want to work here." Grandview is so blessed to have Kate represent its facility. Though she doesn't provide direct patient care, she is a true asset assuring evidence-based, quality care from competent, highly-trained nurses. I am truly grateful to have learned from Kate during my practicum experience and witness Grandview's commitment to top-notch nursing care.
