Kate T Samaras, BSN, RN, OCN

My dad's in his 4th round of his second series of chemo, and Kate has been a part of my dad's team since the beginning. The whole Jones 18 team is outstanding, from security, sanitation, and food service to OT/PT, techs, and nurses, and it makes it difficult to call out a single instance of greatness. Kate has been one of the kindest, always laughing. Today, she greeted us in the front hall, fully versed in Dad's care and ready to kick things off. She is efficient, dedicated, and detail-oriented, and she makes Dad feel safe in the care of VMFH. For him to specifically say that he feels safe is one of the most extraordinary compliments he can give. Thank you for everything, Kate, and all of Jones 18.
