Katelin took care of me and my family during the night of my delivery for my 20-week-old (fetal demise) son. This is our second son. Katelin was very kind and gentle with me before and after delivery. She talked me through every possible thing I had questions on (or that my family had questions on). She was there while I delivered my son and after. I have never met a more gentle and compassionate nurse.

The care she gave not only my family and I but my very fragile and tiny son I will never be able to thank her enough for. She held him while I got to the bathroom because I didn’t want any of his time to be lying down. She made sure I got pictures and keepsakes for him. She made sure I was as comfortable as possible. She also made sure to reassure me that she would personally bring me a memory box and that she would walk my baby to the morgue.

Once transferred, she brought me my memory box and teddy bear. She woke me up to tell me how sorry she was for our loss, gave me a great big hug, and told us she would continue to pray for my family and me.
