March 2023 Honoree
Katelin Robertson, RN
My dad was in the hospital from the Veterans Home. When I came to be here for him, I discovered that his longtime love was also a patient. Dad is nearly 89 and his lovely lady is nearly 92. They have resided at different care facilities. The two lovebirds hadn’t seen each other in person for months.
Katelin heard my story and navigated the necessary steps to arrange a short visit. Not only did she get the visit arranged she stayed after her shift was over to accompany us.
Many nurses came to see the event and were still talking about it the next day. I guess the hospital is named Blessing for a very good reason.

Thank you, Katelin, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
