Katelyn Bindel, RN

Katelyn is one of the best nurses I have worked with at any institution during my career. We had a highly complex and sick Cirrhotic patient and Katelyn, through thoughtful assessment, was what ultimately saved this patient's life. She provided me with frequent and timely updates when I would ask and despite nursing multiple sick patients, she was phenomenal at triaging these tasks. Her rapport with the patient's elderly mother was something to be modeled after and helps me as a training physician. We are so lucky to have lifesavers like Katelyn at our institution and I asked the student she was teaching to please absorb as much as she could. Words cannot adequately capture how impressed I was with Katelyn.
