Katelyn Boyd, BSN RN

I got pulled to sit with an aggressive/delayed patient and Katelyn was the nurse. She went above and beyond to ensure that the patient did not escalate and was content throughout her shift. The patient kept talking about rainbow candy and she went out of her way to purchase candy from the gift shop to keep the patient happy. She did this on top of handling a five-patient assignment and making sure that her coworkers were okay as well. I was very nervous to be sitting today, but Katelyn did everything in her power to make sure the day went smoothly – she’s an amazing nurse! She truly cares about the well-being of her patients.
