Katelyn Combs, RN

Katelyn is most deserving of this award because she consistently demonstrated the core values of compassion for her patients. She did not hesitate to go above and beyond for my wife, who was admitted for congestive heart failure. Katelyn included me and my family in every step and decision regarding my wife’s care- she listened to our concerns and came up with options for our consideration. She was always professional, empathetic, and most importantly, demonstrated great care for each change in my wife’s condition. She, in my opinion, exemplifies the characteristics expected of a healthcare professional in any medical facility- but especially in ICU. We are very grateful to her and the Chandler Medical Center for the excellent care and attention given to my wife in the last moments of her life. Thank you.
