Katelyn Hudson, RN

The family was letting their son go, and things did not go as planned. The time designated for the family to say goodbye was delayed for nearly five hours. Katelyn was placed in the middle of this very unfortunate situation. She did an absolutely amazing job keeping the family calm and reassured. This was not an easy task because as time slowly passed, the family started doubting themselves and was very torn with their decision. At shift change, the family received the approval to let their son go. Katelyn stayed well past her shift in the room, answering all questions with grace and love, even shedding tears. Katelyn went well above and beyond taking care of this patient and his family.  

The Lord places angels in our path to help us walk through troubled times. Katleyn was definitely that angel with a beautiful heart right there for us in times of need.
