Straight away, Katie put my wife and baby first and provided excellent care. She went above and beyond her duties. Any questions me or my wife had were answered promptly and accurately. She was accommodating to our needs and met us where we were at. Katie possessed a great bedside manner and was very approachable. Katie made us feel heard and our feelings validated throughout every step of our labor and delivery process.

At one point in our stay, after hours of struggling to get our daughter to calm down, Katie worked with our newborn to help comfort our newborn and allow me and my wife to get some much-needed rest. Katie was supportive of my family’s needs throughout our stay at the Joint Township Hospital in St Mary’s. Katie truly practices using a patient-centered approach. Katie set a great example of going the extra mile and went beyond the standard of care. Katie possesses a high level of professionalism and respect for her patients. It is my hope that she be recognized for her amazing level of patient care.
