Kate brought extraordinary care and healing during my admission. I had the chance to work with her several times over the last 3 weeks I have been hospitalized. She is always extremely patient and kind on all occasions; she looks for ways to make me feel as comfortable and at home as possible. We have shared memories, laughs, and talked through some of my fears.
Sometimes when I was scared and just plain tired of being in the hospital, Kate brought me peace and an honest understanding shoulder. Most importantly, she took the time to listen. Whether it was a moment of joy I was experiencing or a moment of sadness, she always provided the space for me to be who I needed to be and say what I needed to say to get through my hospitalization.
Her professionalism and willingness to learn, even sometimes outside of her area of expertise, was much appreciated. I am so thankful to Kate for not only providing extraordinary care but for being one of the most understanding, non-judgmental, and kindest person I have ever met.
