Katerina is a huge asset to HUMC! From the moment I met her, she was pleasant, sweet, had a caring disposition, and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and safe. After being moved to the cardiology floor from emergency, Katerina immediately noticed that the leads into my arm were all bloodied and needed to be changed and moved. She was extremely gentle and tended to me with her expertise.
On top of the cardio event, I was being monitored by neurology and was wearing a skull cap with wires and glue in my head. When they cut the cap off, my hair was all matted down. My face was already severely bruised from a fall. Knowing that my son was anxiously on his way from his college in PA, Katerina assured me that she had a special cap with shampoo in it, and showing her compassion helped me do my best to look presentable for my son.
Katerina is more than an extraordinary nurse! She is a very special person as well!
