My son receives Remicade every 6 weeks. Kathy has been consistently able to set the IV on the first try. He is a difficult stick. She always has a huge smile and big hug for us with lovely words of encouragement. Over the years of his life she has been the shining star when it comes to LGH. Her positive personality and excellent experienced nursing skills have always made his chronic illnesses more bearable. Kathy always speaks to my son and shows him respect. Through the years she has become a true and trusted caregiver of the highest quality. My son also has Down Syndrome which Kathy has never let influence their conversations or her treatment of him.
