Katherine Carter, MSN Katherine Carter is an Instructor of Clinical Nursing at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans School of Nursing. She is certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Public/Community Health. Ms. Carter is described by her colleagues as going above and beyond to facilitate student’s learning of public health nursing. She is a consistent role model demonstrating the nursing school’s core values of caring professionalism, respect, integrity, diversity, and excellence. She places student’s needs first while listening to their concerns and models professional communication and ethical decision making. She is innovative in developing student learning activities.
