My son came into urgent care very late one evening a 1/2 an hour before closing with a small head wound. We got in immediately and Katie greeted us as our nurse. She was warm, welcoming, patient, and most importantly, loving to all of our children!
L needed only a few stitches, but she was just lovely! She talked about her own girls to L, as one was of close age to him, and told him stories. When it came time for stitches, he needed his head covered, which meant he couldn't watch or see me, so Katie suggested listening to music! We did it! For 20 minutes we listed to Old Town Road and even sang to him at times!
Katie had to stay late, as she was also the charge nurse, but she did not appear to mind! She treated all of us so well and completely encompasses what being a nurse really is, rolling with things as they come and still loving her job!
Thank you, Katie, for making L's whiskers the easiest process yet! You are an amazing nurse!
