Katherine Felgar, RN
While my dad was in the hospital, he mentioned that Katherine was super nice and patient with him, answering all his questions and requests without any resistance or hesitation. She served him with joy, and while everyone is always kind, she stood out in this regard.
When I met her, I asked her several questions about my dad’s blood work, and she quickly looked up the computer to give us certain blood marker readings. She kept a smile the whole time and made my dad feel safe and cared for. She explained all the next steps to the post-visit, how the event monitor works, and when I asked to speak to the doctor, she notified the doctor to call me so I could ask him some questions. I saw how careful she was when removing his IV.
There were more things she did for my dad, but we can sense that everything she did was with joy, to serve others, and even for a higher purpose. Thank you!
