Katherine Ford, BSN, RN

A new patient was admitted due to newly developed confusion and forgetfulness. She had no form of identity, no insurance cards, or a cell phone with her. She was unable to recall any personal information besides knowing she moved here to Houston from Florida recently and lives in a group home. Katherine Ford, RN, spent time learning about the patient and found that she worked at DD's Discounts but was unsure of which location. Katherine called all the DD's Discounts locations around the Houston area, and she finally reached the one where the patient was employed. She was also able to find the emergency contact, her cousin, who is very close. She doesn't know what she would do without Katherine because she feels helpless and alone. Katherine genuinely loves and cares for her patients as if they were her own family.
